Cuddly Octopus Free Crochet Pattern

Octopus is a wonderful ocean animal and it makes a lovely nursery decoration, a unique accessory, or a toy for your little ones.

This pattern is very easy and it uses basic crochet stitches like single crochet, also you need to know how to increase and decrease in this stitch, according to that, this free pattern is suitable for beginners.

This tutorial starts by making 8 tentacles, then making a head and body, and assembling them together, then using the embroidery yarn to embroider the mouth, eyes, and nose.

This pattern is made with plush yarn with a 3.5 mm crochet hook and some embroidery yarn.

Materials

  • Crochet hook 3.5mm
  • Plush yarn. In this pattern used Himalaya Dolphin Baby (100g/120m)
  • Black and white DMC floss for embroidering eyes
  • Stuffing material
  • Sewing needle
  • Sewing pins
  • Scissors

Fill the detail with the stuffing. Only the tips of the tentacles are filled with the stuffing material.
