This is a fun, quick little project and perfect for using up some of your scrap yarn and very suitable for beginners.
You can use this mini bag as an AirPods case or coin purse or you can make it in a bigger size and use it for storing household items, baby items, or storage crochet yarn.
Materials needed to make this pattern are sport weight yarn with (pink, light green, darker green, white, and black) colors with a 3mm crochet hook, scissors, and tapestry needle.
This tutorial starts from the bottom with 7 rows of pink color followed by 2 rows of white color followed by 4 rows of light green then 2 rows of dark green color and using black yarn, sew in pip’s from the inside with a darning needle.

Mr – magic ring
Ch – chain
Sl st – slip stitch
Dc – double crochet
Hdc – half double crochet

Note: When you start each round and chain 2, the chain does not count as a double crochet, so on the start of each round you need to start your first stitch into where you have put your first chain.
How to Change Color
In the 36th stitch start to work your last double crochet or half double crochet then as you pull your yarn through the last two loops on your hook that’s when you need o pull the new color through.
Bag
Starting with pink.
Round 1: Make a magic ring and ch 2, then 12 sc into Mr then st into first stitch of this round (12)
Round 2: Ch 2 then 2 dc into each stitch then st into first stitch of this round (24)
Round 3: Ch 2 (1 dc 2 dc * 12) then st into first stitch of this round (36)
Round 4: Ch 2 then BLO dc all around then st into first stitch of this round (36)
Round 5-6: Ch 2 dc all around then st into first stitch of this round (36)
Round 7: Ch 2 dc into 35 stitches then in the 36th dc stitch change color to white then st into first stitch of this round
Round 8: Ch 1 Hdc in 35 stitches then change to color light green in stitch 36 then st into first stitch of this round (36)
Round 9-11: CH 2 dc all around then st into first stitch of this round (36)
Round 12: Ch 2 dc in 35 stitches changing to color dark green in the 36th stitch then st into first stitch of this round (36)
Round 13: Ch 3 tr all around then st into first stitch of this round (36)
Round 14: Ch 2 dc all around then st into first stitch of this round then fasten off (36)
Sew in pip’s black yarn from the inside with a darning needle then fasten off on the inside.
You want to weave in all of your ends on the inside.
Now you want to flatten the bag at the top to make sure your seam is at the back, now you’re ready to add in the tie.
At the front of your bag you will now thread through your chain of 65.
When threading the tie through the treble crochet’s you will be counting your chan 3 at the back of the bag on this row as a stitch.
You want to start just from the middle of the front in the treble crochet row going under 3 stithes
