Materials
- 2.5 mm crochet hook and 2 m crochet hook
- Sport weight yarn in blue in green
Abbreviations
St – stitch
Ch – chain
Sl st – slip stitch
Sc – single crochet
Sc2tog – 2 st together with sc (decrease)
BLO – back loop only
Stem
Blue yarn, 2.5 mm crochet hook
Round 1: 4 sc in magic ring (4)
Round 2: (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc) *2 (6)
Round 3: (2 sc BLO in next sc, 1 sc BLO) *2 (9)
Round 4-9: 9 sc BLO
Change to green yarn, 2 mm crochet hook.
Round 10: (sc2tog BLO, 1 sc BLO) *3 (6)
Work sc in rounds until the stem has the length you prefer. You can stabilize it by inserting e.g. a stick.
Petals
Blue yarn, 2.5 mm crochet hook.
Hold the stem with the open side facing down, join yarn into the last front loop in round 9.
