
Let’s make this mini mushroom to use as a gift for your friend who loves fairies and forests or as a keychain.
The cap and stem are made separately, then sew them together at the end, then embroider eyes and nose to the stem.
Materials needed for this pattern are medium-weight yarn with (white, dark brown, light brown, black, and red) shades, a 3.5mm crochet hook, embroidery thread with black and red colors to embroider the face parts, and fiberfill.
This tutorial is very easy to make and uses a simple crochet stitch like single crochet stitch which makes it suitable for beginners.

Switch to light brown.
Round 13: BLO 32 sc (32)

Stuff the cap. Finish off, leave long tail for sewing onto the stem.

Round 1: 10 sc in Mr (10)
Round 2: 10 inc (20)
Round 3: [sc, inc] x 10 (30)

Stuff the stem and fasten off. Sew the cap on top of the stem.
Face
Eyes:
With black yarn, embroider 1-row tall eyes on R11 of stem, 3-4 stitches apart.

Nose:
With red yarn, embroider a French Knot stitch between R10-11, between the eyes.
(You can also use a round piece of felt here!)
Add blush close to eyes.
