Let’s celebrate the strawberry season by making this cute strawberry heart, it’s easy to make and very cute, but it’s not as tasty as a real one.
This tutorial is starting by making the heart, calyx, stalk, and flower, then how to assemble them at the end.
Materials needed to finish this pattern are sport weight yarn, a 1.75 mm crochet hook, safety eyes with size 6mm, fiberfill, embroidery yarn with (black, yellow, and pink) shades, and a needle for embroidery.
The stitches used in this tutorial are very simple and easy like single crochet and double crochet stitches, which make it a beginner-friendly tutorial.

- Yellow, pink and black treads for embroidery

Fasten off and cut the yarn.
Crochet the second piece in the same way. Do not cut the yarn and continue crocheting from the second piece. Join the first piece and crochet 3 sc through both pieces as shown in the photo, then continue crocheting around both pieces.

Stalk
Crochet with the green yarn.

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Flower
Crochet with the white yarn.
Round 1: (ch 2, dc, ch 2, sl st) *5 in a Mr
Pull the ring, fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Assembly and decoration
- Sew the stalk in the center of the calyx.
- Fix the calyx on top of the heart with pins and sew it on.
- Sew the flower to the calyx.
- Embroider the smile with the black thread.
- Embroider the blush with the pink thread.
- Embroider the seeds with yellow thread.
